DashMic is not recording audio yet. We will enable one-tap voice notes only after validating Tesla’s current browser recording format and defining short raw-audio retention/deletion. Microphone permission will never be requested automatically.
Use only when safe
Feedback controls are for use when parked or otherwise safe to interact with the screen. DashMic will not market voice feedback as a while-driving feature.
